i don't really know why I'm fond of the eraserheads these past few months of my year. I soo love singing their songs and I love playing their songs with my kuya's electric guitar (although I'm not that good at that instrument. haha, I mean, aside from the flute, guitar is what I know how to play). hahaha.
OPINION.
I really am into eraserheads now. especially with the songs: Magasin, Alapaap, Kisapmata, Ligaya, and many more. (: and plus, I'm very addicted to searching why Eheads broke up.
I watched a show that wants to know eheads better. why it broke up, what's up with the "old" band", why it clicked so much, etc.
the old band has not stayed to be an idolized band, has not been a band with sharp written lyrics, but also has been a LEGEND. A lot has been influenced, a lot has been inspired, and a lot were saddened when the band broke up (including me!). It has been a Legend since it made the Philippines known for its music. :DD the band, eraserheads, were given an award at MTV Asia. what's up with that? Many bands had come up, but nothing really beats eraserheads. Even those famous bands here in the Phils are still idolizing and takes eraserheads as an inspirition. I really love how they make music. Lyrics, everytime I sing their songs, it doesn't make me stop smiling or doesn't stop me thinking how and why those words came up from their writer's mind. Their tono really stucks us people in not only hearing, but also listening to whatever the song impresses us. Other songs that were sang and written by them were actually unliked by other minds maybe because for them, the songs had "double meaning". I think, It's up to us, listeners, how will we be able to take them in our minds. heehee. :))
since the band broke up, I don't really know where they are right now, but according to others, they belong to different bands already, right? haha. what I'm sure of is Ely's still writing songs with a band, one is into the surfing industry of the Philippines, Marasigan sings in a band (i think), and the other one is I'm not sure of it. I told you, I'm not sure of everything. Forgive me! haha. =p
You know, their songs inspired us to sing, to play the guitar because of them, they even made us laugh with their funny and stiriking lyrics. They're famous, adored and loved, but how come they broke up? I really don't know why, although the question was asked in the show that I watched, but it seems everything must not be cleared by the whole band. God knows how I love ERASERHEADS and their songs. for me, they are still to be adored and loved. God bless y'all, eheads! I love you so.
